About Us

Craig has resided in Vincentia for 54 years. He is a Company Director and SME Business owner with over 40 years in the glass and glazing industry. He has been involved with the Vincentia Golf Club since the age of 6. He is an  enthusiastic, hard worker, and an active sports person with a strong sense of community. Craig is also a member of the Vincentia Ratepayers and Residents Association (VRRA).

Tom Karp resides in Vincentia and is a retired actuary with over 40 years’ experience in insurance and financial regulation, including considerable international regulatory work. He has extensive experience across investments, accounting, underwriting, policy administration, product development, systems and actuarial. Tom was a Senior Executive (and ISC Commissioner) with the Insurance and Superannuation Commission, and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, which he helped establish. At APRA he was responsible for regulating the major insurance companies, banks and their associated superannuation funds in Australia. He has held senior positions in the International Association of Insurance Supervisors and International Actuarial Association. Since his retirement, Tom has served on the boards of three government bodies related to insurance and professional conduct. Additionally, he has offered consultation to the IMF and World Bank on several insurance-related projects.

Kendall is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), with over 40 years of membership and extensive experience in accounting, taxation and small business advisory services. After many years running a successful practice in Cowra, Kendall is now based in Basin View, continuing to support small businesses and community organisations with practical, reliable advice. He was a Registered Company and Club Auditor for more than 20 years and has been actively involved with numerous not-for-profit and sporting associations in both auditor and treasurer roles. Known for his depth of knowledge and steady, solutions-focused approach, Kendall is a trusted advisor with long-standing client relationships. Outside of work, Kendall is a keen triathlete and enjoys a round of golf while staying active in the local community.

Kathy has lived in Vincentia for over 36 years. She is a passionate advocate for community health and well-being, having worked in the Healthcare space for over 40 years as an Emergency Clinician, General Practice Nurse Specialist, UOW Academic & Researcher, and as a Primary Health Care Consultant, including strategic, clinical and business & infrastructure development. As an APNA Board Director & member, Kathy provided National policy consultation, publications, conferences & education. She has worked with groups (including DVA, Kidney Health Australia, Dept of Health, & Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) to develop professional standards for nurses, midwives & GPs.

John has lived in Huskisson and Vincentia for 43 years and has raised a family in our magnificent welcoming community and the natural environment that shapes it.
John was a founding teacher (and later, Deputy Principal) at Shoalhaven High School and a National Excellence in Teaching Winner; NSW Australian of the Year Final 4; Local Hero; and was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2020.

Alan has lived in Jervis Bay for 40 years, where he and his partner, Simone, have raised their family. He recently retired from a career as a Heavy Marine Fitter and Turner, Helicopter Mechanic and, most recently, Navy pilot and Officer. Alan is passionate about maintaining the unique village and community atmosphere of our region. He is an enthusiastic learner golfer who mixes his golf with walking on the beautiful Vincentia Golf Course. Alan is currently an ASIC accredited Director and Secretary of another Australian business.
