On behalf of Jervis Bay Community and Sports Club and the broader community of the Bay and Basin, we thank the President, Board and membership of SGBCC for:
Accepting our $2 million consideration.
Acknowledge SGBCC Board’s unqualified statement of support for the de-amalgamation process to benefit the Bay and Basin communities.
Stating strongly that the SGBCC President and Board are advocating privately and publicly to ALL MEMBERS to VOTE NO on ALL resolutions at the meeting on Sunday 3rd August.
This is the first step of many.
As stated in our announcement on 23rd July, the SGBCC President, Board and Management have the details of our legal team.
We will propose an independent accountant to assess JBCSC capacity for financial viability.
While President Proudfoot made an announcement on social media late Friday afternoon (25 July), we have been informed that the President will notify the broader SGBCC membership and media to publicly and privately advocate to vote NO to all resolutions.
JBCSC Board STRONGLY encourage ALL Country Club members to attend the General Meeting at 10:00am on Sunday 3rd August at the St Georges Basin club.
Vote NO to all resolutions. Every No Vote will make a difference.
Keep VGC Core: Vincentia club land is for community NOT developers!
The JBCSC Board awaits formal advice from SGBCC before taking next steps.
