Election of Directors at JBCSC AGM
On Tuesday 28 August the JBCSC Board held the first AGM of Jervis Bay Community & Sports Club Limited.
The Chair noted that Sam Tooley advised he would not be standing for re-election, due to professional work commitments with his new position. Accordingly, there were six Director positions available for election.
The Returning Officer, Rob Dunn, confirmed the election process broadly aligns with the election regulations in the constitution. He noted that Clause 3.2(b) requires all appointments to be for one year as JBCSC is not a registered club at this time.
The Returning Officer confirmed that six valid nominations were received for six vacancies. As the number of nominations did not exceed the number of vacancies, the following persons were appointed to the Board:
John Dyball
Kathy Godwin
Craig Hatton
Tom Karp
Kendall McMaster
Alan Moore
Craig Hatton and Directors thanked Sam Tooley for his service as a Director of JBCSC. Immediately after the AGM, a JBCSC Board meeting was held and the following positions were confirmed:
Chairperson: Craig Hatton
Deputy Chairperson: Tom Karp
Treasurer: Kendall McMaster
