Joint Board meeting held + volunteers drive continues

On 24 November 2025, a joint board meeting between SGBCC & JBCSC Directors was held. The meeting was collaborative, co-operative and positive. President Proudfoot advised that SGBCC intended to move forward with de-amalgamation, but they need to formally resolve this.

JBCSC’s Volunteers Drive Continues

This week we begin weekly get-togethers for people wishing to volunteer their services, expertise and time to supporting JBCSC in the lead up to de-amalgamation, as well as once JBCSC opens as a registered and operational club. These activities include:

Volunteer Meet & Greet and Information Session

This is a more formal opportunity for all those who want to help or have signed up as a JBCSC volunteer. You will get to meet some of JBCSC’s Directors and our Volunteers Coordinator, Brenda Garnett. There will also be time to meet other volunteers.

When: Tuesday, 2 Dec 2025, 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Where: Vincentia Community Hall in Coles Car Park

Volunteer Get-Togethers

Catch up with Brenda and other JBCSC volunteers in an informal way at Taco Tuesdays. Look for Brenda in her JBCSC t-shirt every Tuesday evening from 6pm.

When: Every Tuesday in the months of December and January from 6pm.

Where: Near 'The Local' at Burton St Mall, Vincentia
