Launch of Jervis Bay Community & Sports Club Fundraising

Dear Supporters of JBCSC,

On behalf of JBCSC Board, Craig Hatton (Chair) would like to thank the entire Jervis Bay community for their strong support throughout our journey into an exciting new era as we progress to de-amalgamation with the St Georges Basin Country Club.

Many of you will be aware JBCSC is a not-for-profit, start-up company established by members of the Jervis Bay community.

We now need your financial support for our next steps forward. We are raising funds, through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), a tax-deductible fundraising platform to enable the JBCSC to re-establish and maintain the Vincentia Golf Club precinct as a thriving, inclusive community centre. Our goal is to provide an enhanced golf precinct with multiple sports facilities; a venue with hospitality services for functions, social gatherings and community celebrations; and work training programs for young people, while preserving an important green space - a haven for Shoalhaven flora and fauna - for future generations.

To achieve our vision, the JBCSC Board is seeking financial support from our community members and supporters in the form of a donation into our JBCSC Operations Fund and/or pledge onto our JBCSC Future Fund.

JBCSC Operations Fund donations will be used to meet the costs for the JBCSC Board to progress required legal and business processes involved in pursuing de-amalgamation from the St Georges Basin Country Club. Please go to JBCSC's Donation page and click on the ‘Donate Now’ button.

The JBCSC Future Fund is also taking pledges, either through the JBCSC Donation page using the ‘Pledge Now’ link where you can enter your details, or by you personally approaching a JBCSC Board member. Please note that when the time comes, payment of pledges will be facilitated through the ASF Finance team, i.e., upon de-amalgamation, the ASF will send those who have pledged an invoice to honour their promised donation. The JBCSC Future Fund will progress the re-opening and initial management of the JBCSC clubhouse and environs ready for you, your family and friends to use as either a member or a visitor as soon as possible.
