This is a call to all JBCSC Vounteers and Supporters.

Please let Brenda Garnett, our JBCSC Volunteer Coordinator know if you are interested and available to help with current working bees around the club, over the winter months.

The working bees will consist of:

  • weeding garden beds

  • trimming shrubs and hedges

  • trimming trees

  • removal of invasive vegetation that has been identified

  • general clean up external of the Club house.

To do this we are also seeking supporters with:

  • trailers to take green waste to the tip on each working bee

  • mulchers to use on the day, or excess mulch to donate

  • unused Tip Vouchers that expire on 31 July 2026 to donate.

Please contact Brenda via email on volunteer@jbcs.com.au or mobile 0411 693 508.

Gratitude to Brenda Garnett our JBCSC  Volunteer Coordinator

Meanwhile, Brenda will continue in her volunteer leadership role throughout the current Golf Course Working Bee. If you are interested in becoming JBCSC's Volunteer Coordinator, please let Brenda know, or contact JBCSC Director Kathy Godwin via by email kathy.godwin@jbcsc.com.au.

Important: Membership Renewals are due NOW!

As JBCSC Board, Project Team and Community Working Group continue to work on tasks supporting the de-amalgamation process, this is just a reminder that right now your action counts too.

Step 8 in JBCSC’s De-amalgamation Roadmap involves Country Club members attending a special meeting to approve de-amalgamation in-principle.

You will need to be a financial social member of the Country Club to be eligible to vote for de-amalgamation at this special meeting.

So, we urge current Country Club members to renew their membership before 30 June 2026 to ensure you maintain your membership status.

If you are unsure whether your membership is due, check the expiry date on your CC

membership card or in The Country Club app. If your card has a large ‘2026’ on the front,

you must renew on or before 30 June (the fine print on the back of your membership card

states this).

If your social membership expires on 30 June 2026, you will not be eligible to vote after that date.

If you choose not to renew your golf membership, please consider retaining your social

membership. It can be renewed for 1 or 3 years.

How to renew?

You can renew your membership by:

To log in online, you will need your membership number, date of birth and postcode. Once logged in, select 'Renew Membership' and follow the prompts.
