The JBCSC Board hope you had a great holiday break. Having passed the peak of tourist numbers, we are starting up a few events and activities to allow our JBCSC supporters to get together, socialise and have some fun.
The process to get to de-amalgamation is going to take some time as many factors lie outside JBCSC control. It is important to get things right and for the regulator (ILGA) to ensure the process has a robust positive outcome.
Until de-amalgamation is achieved, stay in touch, get involved and make sure you continue to keep your Country Club membership current.
Banter & Burgers
It’s time we got together to socialise and connect!
On Friday, 30th January our JBCSC supporters, volunteers and the community are invited to get together for a chat and catch up on what has been going on, and what’s to come in 2026.
The B&B will be held on the deck and in the premises of Merciers (Gelato, Coffee, Bar) at 13 Currambene Street, Huskisson. Merciers (previously Quarterdeck) is next to Huski Bakery and Simon (the owner) has generously agreed to support JBCSC to hold some events at this ‘new’ venue.
Starting at 4pm and running until 7pm, $10 burgers will be available from the JBCSC BBQ - card only (no cash) until stocks run out. The bar at Merciers will be open and gelato will also be available.
This is a great opportunity to get together, strengthen our community and support the vision of JBCSC. It’s open to all, bring a friend, and don’t forget to wear your JBCSC shirt. Haven’t got a shirt yet? JBCSC volunteers will be there to help you order your merchandise.
If you plan on riding your bike, please park at the back of Merciers. Access is via the rear lane way to Merciers.
Trivia
Get your teams together! The popular Wednesday Trivia evening is going to re-commence at Merciers (13 Currambene Street) Huskisson on Wednesday 4th February, and each Wednesday after that until further notice.
Quizmaster, Margaret, will run Trivia from 7:00 to 8:30 pm with prizes and raffles.
It’s just a gold coin donation to play (max 50 players and tables of 4-8). Message Merciers via their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/merciersgelatoandcoffee or drop in to book a table. Margaret is also generously donating the Trivia prizes.
Food and drink will be provided by Merciers, who are also donating some raffle prizes. The raffle will be drawn mid-way through the Trivia. Please bring some cash for the raffle tickets.
Merchandise
Have you seen the JBCSC polo shirts, t-shirts, hat and caps?
The JB Jade, Arctic Blue and White polos with the JBCSC logo look really smart and have proved to be very popular. Navy polos are also now available in both female and male styles in the same breathable bamboo/charcoal fabric as the Arctic Blue polo.

T-shirts are also available in adult, teen and kids sizes.
Order your merchandise on-line via https://www.jbcsc.com.au/#merchandise. The next batch of orders close at 10am on 4th February with orders ready late February.
