JBCSC De-amalgamation Lead invited to speak at VRRA AGM
On Thursday 16th April 2026, Tom Karp, De-amalgamation Lead presented an update at the Vincentia Ratepayers and Residents Association (VRRA) Annual General Meeting. Tom provided an overview the history of JBCSC, up to the joint meeting of the JBCSC and SGBCC Boards. Tom pointed out that the work evidencing financial viability is detailed and we cannot re-open as the club operated previously. Tom also covered details regarding the By Group loan and partnership agreement.
Tom also outlined JBCSC’s plan to provide extra facilities to attract more patrons (this was covered in the past update regarding the suite of business cases being developed by the Board, PT and Community Working Group members). Tom also mentioned the need for drafts of the De-amalgamation Deed and Member Statement from SGBCC which are crucial to the whole process.
