JBCSC’s reach to our community increases

Jervis Bay Community & Sports Club (JBCSC) was thrilled to be invited to be part of the Festival of Music & Art at Burton Street Mall last weekend, 25- 26 October 2025. And what a weekend it was – on Saturday, the sun was shining, there was an afternoon and evening of fabulous local live music and a sausage sizzle, both days had art exhibitions. The community came out in force to support the festival organised by the dedicated volunteers at Vincentia Connections, through Vincentia Matters

JBCSC raised community awareness and gained significant input and support from those who attended. From the JBCSC Stand, our dedicated volunteers mingled throughout the community, spreading the message that JBCSC are working with St Georges Basin Country Club to acquire the VGC precinct. Our volunteers shared some presentation material to show JBCSC’s community-focused vision for the site.

Numerous donations and pledges were made, and a substantial number of people volunteered to support the club in various capacities including working behind the bar, helping redesign the club house, planting trees, organising concerts on the hill and even providing materials to fix up the car park.

It was certainly a day to remember and has inspired all those closely supporting JBCSC that the community is there behind them all the way. If you missed the event and would like to support with donations and/or pledges to JBCSC, visit our fundraising page.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to help in achieving our new community and sports club. Please call/SMS Brenda on 0411 693 508.

We thank the JB Community for your support.

In case you missed it, be sure to catch up on the media release on Thursday 30 October regarding our partnership with BY Group and the Heads of Agreement. Exciting times as we navigate creating our new community focused club.
